Knowing the constituents of your soil will allow you to make sound decisions when you decide to fertilize and/or amend your soils. We can help. Send us your soil samples and for $30/sample, we will send it out to have analyzed and then have the results interpreted into meaningful terms that are usable. Click here for the UAF Cooperative Extension pamphlet on how and why to have your soil tested.

The one of the main functions of a Soil and Water Conservation District is to take available technical, financial, and educational resources, whatever their source, and focus or coordinate them so they meet the needs of the local land user. We work closely with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and can easily call upon them for landowner assistance.
